The redesigned Roto-Moulded Shallow Rack Cases cater to the needs of musicians and professional audio/video engineers. The new model, 1SKB-R2S, now features a full front and rear cover instead of a rear access panel, allowing for easy access. Both doors are equipped with a rubber gasket to keep water out of the case. These Shallow Racks are roto-moulded for enhanced strength and durability, showcasing a new exterior design with interlocking capabilities. They include recessed steel, military-grade black twist latches, shock-absorbing rubber feet, and heavy-duty flush handles. With the addition of rear rack rails and the new cover design, the depth of the Roto-Moulded Shallow Racks has been increased to 10.7 inches from front to rear rail, enabling gear to be mounted at both the front and rear using the supplied rack mount clips. The new 10.5-inch depth on the 2, 3, and 4-space X-racks allows for a wider variety of components, including effect processors (such as Line 6 and Digitech), signal processors (including DBX Comp and Rack Rider EQ), power conditioners (like Furman and Samson), bass amplifiers (from SWR, Gallien-Krueger), line mixers, wireless microphone systems (such as Shure and Sony), and CD and cassette players. This design eliminates the need to unplug components to close the back panel.
